On Our Way to Great-Grandma's House 3-27-09
On Friday, which was my Dad’s Birthday, we headed out early in the morning to go to Texas to visit my Grandma. It was an 8 hour drive to my Grandmother’s house and Julian did excellent (Go portable DVD player)!
Taking Off - 3-26-09
Let’s see… The trip didn’t start off too well. Our flight was delayed by 3 hours due to bad weather in Houston. But once we got on the plane it was pretty smooth sailing.
Highlights: Julian would make comments about us going on a "rocket ship" and tell me "Here we go, Mommy... Up, up high". Very adorable.

Tiger Baby.
This video is somewhat older, but I just love it and thought I'd share! I should record Julian watching this video because his reaction is priceless.
I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Batman! Batman!
Julian decided he was going to take a giant leap from his wooden chair at the coffee table onto Daddy's computer chair. He almost didn't make it and was dangling from the computer chair's armrest. This is already becoming an adventurous morning.
Speaking of adventures... Julian and I will be embarking on an adventure of our own tomorrow. We’re going to see Papa, Nat, Uncle, and Great Grandma in Texas and Oklahoma. The flight is around 5 hours with a two hour layover and then another 2 hour flight. With a two year old this doesn’t seem like much fun to me. However, I will come prepared with the V-tech reading book that Grandma Carey bought him, along with the portable DVD player Daddy and I just bought. Hopefully that will keep him occupied. Let’s take a moment to pray. Ha ha.
I’ll post throughout my trip. Hopefully Daddy doesn’t get too lonely and Aunt Jennie keeps him out of trouble while we are away. :P

Kiss Us, We're Irish (Even if Only a Little Bit). 3-17-09
Like a true Irish Family we set out to find us some green beer on St. Patty's Day. But when we got to Friday's they told us they didn't have green beer; However, they did have regular beer and 1 cent green beens. Wahoo.
