Field Trip to Library Park, Fremont -- 6.4.10

Teacher Marsha planned a field trip to the library's new park that was still being built.  We had the kids act as if they were building inspectors and check things off that they saw.  After that we had a picnic lunch under the trees and Teacher Marsha read the children a story... Good times!

Teacher Marsha handing out items a building inspector would need - clipboard, binoculars made out of toilet paper rolls, pens and clipboards and a tape measure.
Showing the kids what they should look for -- slides, swings, bench, etc.
Yes, I know my kids' shirt is on backwards.  You learn very quickly when you are the mother of a headstrong 3 year old to pick your battles very carefully.  Let them win the smalls battles, and you'll win the war.
Story time with Teacher Marsha
He should be the poster child for our school

I Heart Your Face -- Horton Hears the Who Series, 6.3.10

In the I heart your face series Julian was acting like he was Horton from Horton Hears the Who and was trying to talk to the Mayor in the flower.... He also kept smelling the flower deeply and going "ahhhhhhh".  It was very cute.
Julian eating a plum from our plum tree...

"Mayor, are you there?  It's me... Horton"
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

Bay Area Kids' Festival, Concord -- 5.31.10

Here are pictures from yet another carnival.  I swear, if a random stranger were to look at our blog they'd probably think were were carnie groupies because if there are inflatable jumpers, jankey rides and funnel cakes involved -- we're there.  It's not that we love these carnivals, it's just that we're bored and enjoy blowing $200 in a day so that we can go down big, fun slides! :)

Mama's fav ride
Ju dancing on stage to the Bay Area's own -- The Hipwaders -- an adult band that makes kids rock! /m\

I would have gotten  more pics of Jer & ju, but the crazy woman with the wild boots to the right kept getting in EVERY shot, lol.
He was pretending to be a flying superhero.. Ju had everyone cracking up.
