Cousin Jr. Spends the Weekend with Us 7-19-09

Jr. spent the whole weekend with us so his parents could get a little adult time together. We took the boys swimming all day Sunday and then to the park the next day. Julian had a hard time sharing at first because he's the only child and the world revolves around him. But, Julian slowly started to catch on after Jr bite him while he was trying to bully Jr out of a toy. Boys will be boys, I guess. After they both did a much needed time out, they got it together and played like little angels... well, sort of.... :P

Getting ready for his first jump.
You did it, Ju-ju!
Cousins cheesin together... AFTER the biting incident.

"I'm not a baby, Cousin Cole is a baby" 7-5-09

We went to visit cousin Cole at Tiffany's house in the South Bay the day after 4th of July. I was amazed at how big he's gotten -- almost as big around as Jules. Cole is such a happy, easy going baby who's a little drool monster from teething.

Cole was being such a love bunny and cuddling with auntie...
Julian tickling Cole. Unlike Julian, Cole was very interested in what Jer had to say. Airplane!

4th of July 2009

Jer's shish kabob bbq!!! Yummy! Mia and Julian playing Julian and Jr. The kids watching fireworks. Jules crashed after his big tantrum... Batman -- tired after saving the city's people. These are pics from 4th of July weekend in Tracy at Caneisha and Desmond's house. We were suppose to go to the Lake del Valle, but the park was closed due to being at capacity. So...we ended up back at the cousin's house bbq'ing, then went to Celestes and Brian's for fireworks and swimming. There Julian had a major meltdown because he didn't have a Superman swimsuit like Jr. Because of his lovely and always great timing meltdown, Caneisha brought him back to her house -- and dressed him up as batman -- while Mommy and Daddy stayed behind to have some adult time. All in all it was a nice day.
