Wall Climbing and Baby Banz! -- 5.18.10 & 5.21.10

Julian started screaming, "MOM! Come here! 'Wook' it!". So I ran to the bathroom and saw him "crawled" up the door frame -- butt naked!  Grabbed the camera and got some good shots.  Of course we can't put his nakie butt on the website, so I made him go get some undies on and do it again. Haha.  I remember doing this as a child and thought it was so much fun.

Spiderman!

Baby Banz!!! (Click 'Baby Banz!!! See Ju's picture and buy some!)

So my girlfriend from high school works for Baby Banz and has been sending Ju glasses since he was a baby (click 'baby' and look at the bottom 3rd row to for Ju's pic)... We just love them because they are comfy, super cute and they actually protect their eyes.  It's really a great company, and I think every kid should have a pair... Anyway, here's Ju modeling his.

We <3 Baby Banz!

Sulphur Creek Nature Center, Hayward -- 5.17.10

Our class went to Sulphur Creek Nature Center and Julian LOVED the hands on experience there with all the animals.  Anyone who knows Julian knows that he is great with two things -- babies and animals.  They also have a "rent a pet" program where you can "rent" one of their animals for a donation of $20.  It gives kids who don't have pets the opportunity to take care of one.  Think we might actually do this in the near future.

So, how the field trips work at our co-op is if a child wants to go their parent(s) have to come.  I REALLY enjoy this rule because it gives me a chance to really enjoy the experience with Julian without having to take care of another child.  Plus, it motivates you to go because you don't want your kid to be the only one missing out on all the cool stuff.

Julian and Teacher Marsha.. and Flash the turtle.. or maybe it was Speed or Spike, haha.
Right after the Sulphur Creek instructor told us the turtle was really slow, he crawled REALLY fast towards Ju.
Grace's face says it all... No thank you!  But Julian liked the snake.
Oh! I loved this little guy.  He was extremely soft.  Think we might rent him as our pet.
The kids getting their worms to feed to the chicken and make her jUMp!
Ju surrounded by this girlfriends.. No seriously!

Kite Festival, Fremont -- 5.15.10

Jer's been wanting to take Julian to go fly kites for months now, so when we heard about the Kite Festival in Fremont, we jumped on it.  However, I broke our cheapie kite in the car while trying to put it together (bad mommy, I know!)... So instead of flying kites at the Kite Festival, we ate a little, let Jules go on all the cool jumpers and went on a peddle boat, that to much to my surprise, was pretty darn cheap to ride! (I think it was $12 for 30 minutes).. Jules was kind of bored on the peddle boat, mostly because he couldn't peddle, but we thought it was a great deal of fun.. Though kinda hard too.  Another fun day with our family.

Peddle boats -- that's probably not the correct name for them.. oh well.
The sun was soo bright...
Apparently I was having a hard time keeping my eyes open.  At least my bubbies looks cute, like ALWAYS
