4th of July, SF, 7-4-10

Our original plans for the day were to head to Jack London Square in Oakland and watch the fireworks, but because the Mehserle trial was due to give it's verdict that Monday the City of Oakland canceled all such festivities.  We went with our back up plan -- staying in San Francisco, meet up with Uncle Louis for lunch and then watch the fireworks at the wharf.

On the Bart train
Ju looking out of the train window.

Off the train and out of the station...

Ju dancing while we wait for Uncle Louis to meet us
He thinks he can break dance...

Once Uncle Louis got to the station we walked to North Beach and had....  Italian food (surprise, surprise)!!  It was good, but not for what it cost.  Next time we do subs or pizza, Lol

Probst (or how Mommy says it "push")!
 Don't worry - it's just water!

After lunch Louis had to go to work so we made our way down to wharf.

Two hours before night fall it became SUPER cold.  I felt so bad for having dressed Ju in summer clothing, but luckily once it turned dark it became warm.  Oy, San Francisco weather I tell you!
Watching the "magic" show.

We missed the firework show finale because Ju wanted to buy one of this plastic glow things, ugh! Haha

Hope you all had a wonderful 4th -- we sure did!

2nd Dentist Visit, 6-28-10

This was Jules' second trip to the dentist.  Yet again he has ZERO cavities and still all 20 of his teeth!  Yay for good oral hygiene.  Julian is a super-trooper at the dentist I tell you.

When we arrived the hygienist asked if I had any concerns about his teeth so I told her about this little spot on one of his back teeth.  The dental hygienist was a little apprehensive about x-raying his back teeth, as younger children usually have a hard time holding the x-ray piece in their mouth... But with her helping hold it in place and Mommy taking the x-ray, it worked.  We were all so proud and amazed at his patience.  Then Dr. P came in and read the x-ray and checked his teeth.  The spot on the back tooth turned out to be normal -- that's just the way his teeth formed in-utero and everything was A-OK!

Julian then had the hygienist clean his teeth with a new super strawberry paste, which he thought was "yummy" and then he got a good bag filled with all sorts of neat stuff.
 Doing the normal front x-ray

Getting ready for a super teeth cleaning!

Random Pics, 6-22-10 and 6-26-10

Why am I taking picture of a trashed play-room? Well....
 Hmmmm......
Is that an arm I see?!
 There's a Julian!

As Julian would say "Kung Poo Panda! Karate!"

Father's Day, 6-20-10

The morning of Father's Day I tried to let Jer sleep in and then I  actually cooked Jeremy breakfast for a change -- full on eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, and juice!!  After breakfast we laid around... I cannot remember what we did for lunch, but I'm sure we had something Jer liked.  We did more laying around after lunch until it was time to eat dinner and then we got ready and I took Jer and Ju out for Indian food.  Not only was the buffet super good, it was cheap. Plus, Mango ice-cream = HEAVEN ON THE TONGUE! Yum!

 Giving Dada a kiss...

 Oh! Slipping in something extra!
 Grosssss!!!!
A little hesitant to try this again.
 That's a good one!

The very FIRST stick figure drawing Ju did...  How cool is that?

Happy Father's Day, Babe.  We love you very much and you are the backbone of our family.  Thank you for being such a wonderful partner and father.  Love you always, Julian and April

Ju's Weekend with His Cousins, 6-13 to 6-14-10

I remember this day because it was actually the first super hot day of the summer.  Since it was so hot we went to yoga early that morning, came home to change and headed straight out to the water park in Fremont.  The kids had a blast up until 30 minutes before they closed and then Jules got really cold and wanted to leave.  Since it was so hot back at our house, I made all the kids wear Julian's a-shirts and boxers, lol.

I was so tired and didn't want to read to the kids so I made Bella read to Mia and Julian.
 Bella, Mia and Ju
As you can tell, Ju and Mia are two peas in a pod.  They love to hate each other.  Out of all the kids, these two are like brother and sister -- and fight like it, too.  Ha ha.
The morning after -- I made them paint -- it keeps them quiet and out of trouble.
I made the kids play "Let's Go Fishing" -- As you can, Mia is not having fun.
Mia saying her infamous words, "JULIAN STOP IT!"
